Suggestions?

I outlined our route in a post a few weeks ago, but didn’t really fill in any details about our plans along the way. While we have some major highlights of the trip tentatively planned (keep your fingers crossed that some of the snow in RMNP melts before we get there) there are still many many more hours to fill. This is where you come in! If you have a suggestion for a favorite trail, bite to eat, roadside attraction, clean bathroom, can’t miss photo, or anything else please let us know!
Rocky Mountain National Park – We’re planning on hiking the Bear Lake area the first day (Dream Lake, Nymph Lake, Lake Haiyaha, etc) and climbing the Twin Sisters Peaks the second. From there we’d like to drive the Trail Ridge Road across the park and meander our way down to Montrose.
Black Canyon of the Gunnison – No plans
Arches NP – Is fairly small, so hike the main loop and see all the sights.
Canyonlands – This is probably crazy, but we’re hoping to be able to do Horseshoe Canyon if conditions allow, otherwise we’ll hit the Islands in the Sky district.
Capital Reef – Perhaps a quick stop in the main area if time permits after Canyonlands.
Bryce – Another small park, so we’re considering the Tropic Trail in and then the main loops through the amphitheater. Perhaps a return at night for their astronomy session.
Zion – We can’t wait to hike The Narrows!
Grand Canyon – A visit to the North Rim with a short hike.
Red Rocks Canyon – A can’t miss adventure if you’re ever in Vegas! Followed by an obligatory stop at Cafe Rio on the way back to the strip.
LA – We’ll be in Malibu and Beverly Hills, probably a trip to Manhattan Beach.
Sequoia and Kings Canyon NP – No concrete plans other than see big trees.
Pinnacles NP – Balconies Cave via Chalone Creek
San Francisco – Golden Gate Park, no other real plans yet.
Yosemite – Take a bus to Panorama Point and hike back down to the valley.
Fallon, NV – Do our best to see a rodeo.
Grand Teton NP – No trail chosen yet.
Yellowstone NP – A day to see the famous stuff and 1.5 to explore more.
Theodore Roosevelt NP – I bet you didn’t even know there was a Theodore Roosevelt NP, at least I didn’t until a few months ago. We won’t have much time here because I’ll be wanting to get on to:
Fargo – Finally after 34.5 years I’ll be back home. Is there anything important to see/do in Fargo?
