The girls were done with school yesterday, but I have three days of in-service days prior to our departure. I have shared this blog with my coworkers (hi CP staff!) including our library director. She recently had a deep conversation about WWII and Nazis with Zoe after they read “The Diary of Anne Frank.” She let Zoe borrow a few books about that time era for the summer and suggested she take them on trip. Zoe, near tears, explained that she’s not allowed to bring books on the trip because of the insanely tight packing restrictions.* Then our library director noticed this picture on the blog:
I got a bit of heat for that one today. So, in conclusion, books are not OK. Alcohol is.
*The girls are allowed to bring unlimited books on their tablets.
