Today was a big driving one. The second longest one of the trip, with the first day being the longest. We slept in until 8, ate breakfast at the Holiday Day I had been to 45 states (all by car!) and today I can change that number to 46. First time in Idaho, less potatoes than I was expecting. That’s pretty much all there is to say about Idaho so far.
That’s us crossing into the Idaho. You may have noticed that we post a selfie on facebook at each state border. The reason is larger than just to let you know where we are. We review each state border as a place on facebook. We always give each border one star. (Have you ever seen a state border worth a rating greater than “one of the worst”?) We come up with witty comments that justify a one star rating and see how many strangers will “like” our review. This border received a one star comment of “Boat inspection station seems suspicious. Two guys. Two lawn chairs. Ice cold beers?”
We also stopped at a gas station that was fantastic. Fantastically, amazing. I didn’t have it in me to take too many pictures, as I’m not sure it was meant to be a photo op, but I couldn’t pass this one up. Who thinks that we picked one up for you???
Here the girls are having some fun with Wixie Stix. They are so amazing in the car. I don’t know how they do it!
We ended the day with a very brief swim and carried in pizza. It was a nice evening with many, many laughs. When I asked Ellie how she always makes such a mess when eating she told me that I had said something funny and that made her blow cheese everywhere. So many laughs, I’m telling you.
