The 14th Day

For this blog post I will write it in sections. Here’s the first one:

Morning
This morning the rest of the family woke up between 5 and 6. I didn’t want to so my dad got me out of bed and he tried to wake me up, but I managed to get him out of my bed. I rolled right on top of him.

The Main Hike
Today we did a 9.5 mile hike. We also hiked on fins. I think they’re identical to hoogie thingies.

Spurs
Today we did six spurs. The first one we did was tunnel arch. It had two arches. The next one was Pine Tree Arch. It had one ginormous arch. Next we did Private Arch. At Private Arch me and Zoe and my dad got our picture, and then me Zoe and my mom got our picture. Then we took a picture with the selfie stick that my mom bought and my dad’s kind of on board now. At Private Arch we found a little bunny. She was fine with us, I named her Ruby. She was cute because she was a kid.

Next up we did the Dark Angel trail. It was a half mile trail to a rock that was all alone. Next up we did the Navajo Arch. That one had tons of babies. The last one we did was Partition Arch.

Finally Done
It was a big relief to finally be done with this 9.5 mile hike. We all went to Fred and got cold water that had been sitting in ice overnight. We had Cheetos and sandwich for lunch and then we went to Balanced Rock. Then we came back to the hotel room and now we’re writing blog posts.
