Today was a long day. We woke up early and then got on the car for four hours. I listened to an audio book and played Mario cart I also wrote the first stanza to a song.
We finally arrived in Cedar Breaks National Monument. We finally arrived at the top with a surprising temperature of 53 degrees. We did a strenuous hike 4 mile hike. You are probably are wondering how would a 4 mile hike be strenuous, but trust me it was. We went a lot of up hill, And a little bit of downhill. We hiked around the outer rim of the canyon. We saw many hoodoos. And believe it or not there was SNOW! It’s been since February that I have last seen snow! The hike was also freezing. We took a bathroom break. What we had to eat was beef sticks, beef jerky (thank you kimpton!), and Cheetos.
We finally ended the hike and Ellie and I became junior rangers. We drove an hour and a half to Bryce Canyon log cabins. Ellie and I shared peach tea lemonade(thank you kimpton) and played spot it. We are enjoying dinner. A great day.
