Day 16

I think that the state of Colorado is having a mid-life cristist. I think this because first the state gets like no rain and has some insane drought then when some rain comes the lighting starts almost 20 wildfires in one day. Anyway today there was no alarm set and I got to sleep in and have breakfast in bed. Today was a big day for the town of Mancos as it was burrow fest day. I got in my burrowest clothes. We then hit the road for Mancos. We found a spot where we had a great view of the obstacle course and a bit after we sat down we got to know the burrows. Almost immediately after the introductions. The obstacle course was simply amazing. There was a few obstacles that really stood out that I want to tell you about. The first was one where the burrows had to walk backwards through two pipes. After the first few could not do we dicited to Google if burrows could walk backwards turns out they can not. The other that was just so entertaining was the umbrella all you had to do was open and close a umbrella not one burrow was fazed by the umbrella. After the race we went over and looked at them all and the art that was being made of them. We also had some amazing fry bread. We then drove to the house and picked up our chairs. Zoe drove is back to Mancos and I can whole heatedly saw I wish I had used part of my 1 cubic foot to pack a helmet. I say this because before we left the house Zoe and I were sitting in the car and Zoe said and I quote “where’s my phone I need to Google which one is the gas and what one is the brake” Thank God I’m still alive. We went to a bar for dinner and now have a 2 and a half hour drive to chaco culture where were camping.
