Day 11

(This post was written my myself (Ellie), Vivvi, and Wally V). Today started at the campground we were all staying. Most of us woke up with little to no sleep. I had a breakfast of a cliff bar and Wally and Vivvi both muffins. Our parents took what felt like an hour to get some coffee. We were all squished into Fred it was the fullest he had been in a while. The drive was long but fine. When we got to the trail head we did a quick outlook where we took some pictures. This was the first time that we had hiked with eight people the order we Zoe( leading), Vivvi, Ellie, Wally all the parents were behind us! We talked about School, Vacation, and how long you take at the water fountain. The hike was Hard, Butiful, it also had a lot of springs. At one point when we were going up a super steep hill. We also stopped for trail mix. The hike had a lot of down then right back up (why can’t they just build bridges). I even sweat so much sunscreen got in my eye. Vivvi said hiking on the very edge of the canyon was freaky. Wally thought the hike was like a walking on a roller coaster track. It was was encouraging to see the car for Wally and Ellie but Vivvi thought it just looked far away. Once we made it back to the car we shared cold water and drove to the visitor center where was had to use holes in the ground to the bathroom. We then drove to the pool. We stayed there for a few hours there were a bunch of waterfalls and we played tag. We had cheese, crackers, fruit, chips, and veggies for dinner at the side of the pool. We then got back in the car and did a driving tour of arches. After driving around arches for about an hour we went back to the hotel and got our swimsuits on again and did some night time swimming.
