Today was another day at Mesa Verde. We did two cliff dwellings. The first one we did was Mug House. At Mug House we got to go inside of the rooms. Unlike the other tours there were only 10 people on this one usually there are 50. The next house we did was Step House. Step House was not a ranger led hike only a ranger is always at the bottom. At Step House we got to see pit houses and cliff dwellings. The third house we did was Long House, it was my favorite. At Long House we actually got to explore. We got to climb up ladder to see kivas that still had the roof. We got to go inside rooms and see the rocks they used to grind the corn. At the end of Long House we head on back without the ranger. The rest of the family told me my pants were on backward so I got awfully angry and stomped away. At the end my dad and I ran all the way to the flagpole and then we looked at how much water we had drunk. I had drunk all of mine and my dad drank a lot but not all. Finally my sister Zoe and my mom arrived at the picnic table. We all went back to Fred to get cold water. Zoe took a nap in the car and then we drove back to the hotel. We took showers and now we are going to go to dinner.
