The 6th Day

Today we woke up in a Holiday Inn Express and we’re going to bed in a beautiful Kimpton. Today we did a 4 mile hike. We went in a cave. The way up we hiked alone. When we got to the top we met a ranger and they took us inside a cave. They told us about the different types of fungus stuff that grows in the cave. After we did the cave we hiked back down the mountain. It was much easier. After that we drove about a half an hour to our first Kimpton. We entered the beautiful door and it led us to a chocolate that I had drawn in my 2nd grade memory book and my mommy and daddy had posted on their page. The cake that was there looked exactly like the one I drew. It had chocolate covered cherries, swirls on the side, and of course chocolate frosting. After all the excitement about the cake we went down to wine hour. I got to drink lemonade. Then we went to a restaurant called Squatters. Oh and before we left for wine hour my dad took a shower. For dinner I had bacon on top of meatloaf. The meatloaf wasn’t my favorite, but I guess since was meat it was ok. After dinner we went on a walk and saw three people that got married. After the walk we went back to the hotel room and wrote blog posts and ate chocolate cake.
