Before I start on today I want to go back to last night. We finished our pie then headed to the car where we got ready for bed. We were camping really close to the house and started walking towards the tents. The only problem was we couldn’t find them. We were walking all around the area the tents could have been and came up empty for about 20 minutes. Then we eagerly heard my dad yell ” I found them” we rushed over to our tents where we saw another supprise. Our tents were wet and touching the inside. We opened the rain fly and thankfully saw mostly dry tents. I got into the tent with my dad instead of Zoe because of the bear (spoiler we survived). Then we all went to sleep. This morning the alarms went off at 6:30 and my dad got out of the tent then I. I turned looking for the house and was greated by 4 deer. I told My mom and sister to get out of there tents and look. After watching for a few minutes we they ran off and we went to the house and hopped in the car and started the drive to that trial head of the day. we arrived and looked at the trail to dozens if not hundreds of cows. they were adorable. We started the hike and we went mostly up with a bit of down. The hike was a out and back we were going out to the only geyser in Colorado. The hike was easy and fun with gorgeous veiws at the end. We hiked back and changed into cuter clothes then drove on a very sketchy road to telluride. We walked around for a bit then met up with the berry’s at a Mediterranean restaurant. There was a lot of rain as well. There was also hail at one point. We quickly went back to the car and changed into warmer clothes. We then rode on a gondi up at a bar where the adults had cocktails. We then rode the gondi thing back down and drove to a restaurant where we had dinner then to the hotel where we took showers.
Really loving that your property is so big and nature-y that you can get lost on it 🙂
