Although there was no reenactment of Bents old fort today was a great day.
We had to wake up early so my mom could go to her yoga lesson. During that ellie my dad and I played euchre. I had never played euchre before and I still have no idea how to play. I just showed my dad my habd and he told my what to do.
After that we started on the hike. It was a really pretty hike. There were lush trees infornt of us, and large rocks surrounding us. For some reason, I have no idea why but sometimes rocks can be fun to look at. Today was one of those days. It was actually a really fun hike with lots of up and down
On day 2 of the trip I got super super sunburnt on my back and it still really hurts. So today while we were hiking my backpack was rubbing against my back the whole time and it was definitely another challenge. Also, I had the same song stuck in my head the entire hike which was also really annoying.
After the hike we drove back to the hotel. We were going to go swimming but the pool was closed.I found a cute spot for dinner but until then my mom and I are just sitting by the highway 🙌
I read somewhere that if you don’t let a song finish, it will get stuck in your head. So stop your tunes at the end of a song and see if it works. – Ranger Mike’s Aunt Julie
