It’s 12:08am and we’re about a half an hour from the hotel. For some unknown reason, the girls both took about a 3 hour nap this afternoon and are just as perky as can be now. Ellie is sleepy, but still participating in the silly conversation Zak and Zoe are having. Zoe is just giddy and as delightful as could be. The giggles and laughter is uncontrolable at this late hour and it will go down as one of the most memorable nights of the trip.
Zak has had a lot of fun fussing with the lyrics of “Mary Had a Little Lamb”. Zoe now has this memorized and will probably teach it to your kids! Sorry!
Mary had a little lamb, little lamb, little lamb
Mary had a little lamb whose fleece was as white as snow
And everywhere that Mary went, mary went, mary went
Everywhere that Mary went, the lamb was sure to go
It followed her to school one day, school one day, school one day
It followed her to school one day and they did laugh and play
Then they went to the butcher shop, the butcher shop, the butcher shop
Then they went to the butcher shop to get some mutton for dinner
The lamb did not follow Mary home, Mary home, Mary home
The lamb did not folllow Mary home but it made a real good diiner
