We just bought Zoe a portable DVD player for the car. We leave tomorrow morning for a long car ride to Eau Claire to visit Zak’s grandparents and meet the new Johnson baby. We were very nervous about Zoe and the car ride and just caved in and bought some entertainment. We also picked up a Curious George DVD, a Sesame Street set that came with three DVDs, and Elmo’s Potty Time. We hope this helps the ride go a bit smoother and toilet training a bit easier.
There are many options when picking out a portable DVD player and we went with one that allows the kids to play Wii in the backseat (when their older, of course.) Their road trips will be vastly different than ours ever were.
