Today I was woken up by being draged across the room and hearing my dad say “can someone turn on the shower, I need to wake ellie up.” And that’s when I desided to wake up. Then we packed up our room. After that we hit the road for our 6 hour drive to Yosemite. We had to drive down a crazy windy road. The ride was pretty uneventful.
When we got there we learned we had to take our scented things out of our car and as you can imagen that was a process. Once we did that we went up to our room and were showed to the diggens suite. It has an entry way that when you go to the right the bathroom in there which has double vanity, a huge tub, a separete room for showering and using the bathroom. Then if you go back to the entry and then go to the left go a little down the hallway and turn in to the first bedroom and there is a queen size bed with the back of the old cleberty bar. Then if you go all the way down the hall you reach the second bedroom/living room where we chill. After that we went on a 3 1/2 mile hike to mirror lake were I had the idea to do a daily riddle. Here are the rules of the game; each day I will give you a riddle and in the comments below you tell me the awnser and the next day I will tell you the real awnser. If you get it right the next day I will give you a shout out. The final rule is that you MUST WRITE THE AWNSER ON Untanglingknotts.com. If you want to pertisapate then todays riddle is: You are doing a out and back hike, you hate me on the way there and love me on the way back, what am I? By the way a out and back hike is were you do the same trail to the spot and back. For example We did a hike to miorr lake we walked to it and then turned back around and took the same trail back. So if you want a shoutout make sure that write your awnser on our blog.
Hmmmmm….your dad for planning such a long hike on a hot day, but offering ice cream if you stop complaining and get on with the hike already? Bahahaha, just kidding…I’m guessing…an incline (descent on the way back…)
Hmmm. That’s a good one Ellie! I’m going to go with the sun!
Maybe the ascent …
I don’t use all of those “fancy” hiking words like ascent and descent, but my guess is going uphill and coming back downhill.
