This morning I woke up when I found my dad dragging Ellie out of her bed.
We quickly got ready for the day. My parents picked up some coffee and we were on the road.
Unfortunately, Tioga Pass is still closed so we had to take the long way. Instead we had to take Sonora Pass. The drive was 5 hours up and down windy roads it was almost like being on a roller coaster.
The drive was pretty uneventful we just watched lots and lots of Parks and Rec.
When we finally got to Yosemite we unloaded our entire car including all of the food. We checked in to the Eldorado Dinnings Suite (see my mom’s post for an Explanation). When we walked in there was a whole entryway, bathroom with jacuzzi, and a whole living room.
After we took that all in we went on a short hike to mirror lake. The hike was beautiful and so was the lake. When we got back to the room we were very surprised to find a plate of chocolate covered strawberries.
After a little rest we went soon to afternoon tea. There my mom had tea and we all had cookies we also played a game me of Monopoly Deal.
Tonight we are planning on going to the grocery store and having a picnic.
