Today we woke up in our hotel just a couple of hours just away from the dam visitor center.
After a stop for Dam Coffee we were on our way. As we were near the Dam Visitors Center we drove through a cute town. It don’t know the name so I’m just going to call in Dam Town because everything started with dam. Dam Visitors Center, Dam Book Store, Dam Cafe, Dam Shopping Center. You think they could’ve thought of a better name than Dam. Imagine if it said Dam food that would have 1-star on Yelp.
We went for lunch at State 48. I got wings and they were very good. After we went to the dam Visitors Center and we saw the dam. It was dam beautiful. Get it? At the dam visitor center it was cool learning about dam stuff like the materials and when it was built.
After we went to another hike although Ellie started not to feel well at the dam Visitors Center so she and my dad stayed in the car while my mom and I went on the hike. The hike was awful there were so many signs and none of them were interesting. The hike was super steep and my dad said it was flat. Lucky him got out of the hike.
After we went to set up camp. We went to the Amigo’s Cafe for dinner. I had their famous dam-tacos for dinner. We are camping tonight and waking up early tomorrow. I hope tomorrow is a better day.
