Today we got up at 7:00 and had the most amazing breakfast at the hotel. They had made to order omelets , pastries, fruit, and so much more. Then we went to Seguaro National Park. It was so cool 😎. The cactuses were so tall. I think we were the only people who hiked today because it is 106 outside. We also became Jr Rangers. We got a lot of free stuff like certificates, stickers ,and 15% off anything in the store. When we walked in I knew just what I wanted, the biggest thing in the store. The stuffed cactus with a ranger hat on top. So of course I had to get it and I DID!!! Now for the rest of the four trip I have it to snuggle. Zoe got prickly pear salt water taffy. It was ok. Tell us in the comments below which one you would get. After that we went back to the hotel and went swimming🏊 for the rest of the night 🌙.
Day 12 and we are staying at the most amazing hotel and it has a big outside pool that is so so so so so much fun to jump into.

I would have definitely picked the big salt water taffy wearing the ranger hat.

You folks are great lovers of the great outdoors! I hiked in the Coachella Valley desert in April and loved it, but it was only 90 something with cooling winds. A monster 3-4 foot desert rattlesnake crossed the path through the oasis brush — yikes! Enjoy your travels; I’m enjoying your blogs.
Rattlesnakes have been one of my biggest fears. Fortunately, we haven’t seen any yet. I do make the whole family go over what to do if we see one every single day!
Carter would have picked the cactus and Caleb would definitely choose the special treat!

Ellie, I would have picked the ranger cactus – it’s the perfect souvenir for you. On the other hand, I sure would have enjoyed trying the salt water taffy.

Wow, so very hot. But looks like you guys are loving it.
As for what I would pick it would definately have to be the stuffed cactus, no doubt about it. Very good choice. Any pictures of this here cactus? Or should I keep surfing your stories.
