Happy Father’s day to Grandpa and Dad! I’m going to write about last night also. As you may or may not know we were camping and it was raining. There was thunder and lightning. I was tent buddies with Dad and you could hear Ellie crying through the tents. Luckily the storm didn’t last long. When Ellie and my mom woke up they woke me up also. For the first time this trip we all woke up before our alarms. We left the campsite at either 5,6,7,or,8. It’s too confusing because Arizona doesn’t do Day Light Savings time zone. For more important information read my dad’s post called Don’t Fall For The Daylight Savings Scam This Year and it was so informative.
The hike was incredible. We saw hoodoos, mountains, forests, and no people! It was 9.5 miles, over 5.5 hours! It was relatively flat and a lot of fun! We did this one little spur where you got to you in the rocks and it reminded me of the fiery furnace. We saw countless lizards they were running left and right. We also saw a lot of squirrel, snails, and frogs. It was just like Bryce only without the people.
After that we drove to Bisbee AZ. We were supposed to camp tonight but opted out and ended up in the cutest hotel ever. It has 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, and 2 porches. If you are ever in AZ you should definitely visit Bisbee. It is the cutest town. Tomorrow we are climbing a mountain
