Tonight as everyone was going around reading their blog posts I announced that I had not yet written one I was met with an unanimous stream of Boos. Now as I drift asleep after a full day of hiking do not expect this to he the best thing ever.
I woke up earlier than I wanted to today. Our plan was to leave by 9:30ish and at the ripe time of 6:45 I woke up. I took that opportunity to take a long shower, get ready, and eat some yogurt before we left.
A little interruption as I’m writing this 2 moths are forcefully flying into my bedroom window after not making it pounding themselves into the glass tens of thousands of times. This is very fun to watch so sorry if my posts black some detail I’m admiring the stupidity of there moths. Like it is so strange they fly full force to the glass then bounce off of it to the floor and try again. This has been going on for the past 10 minutes.
Anyway, little Trail we did was called big Al. Personally, I babe did not appreciate it. When we got to the overlook I am not exaggerating but at least 400 little bugs were infesting my shirt. I and literally appalled and get goosebumps at the thought of it. It was gross. Ew. AND OT HAPPENED TO NOONE ELSE. My shirt instead of cute pink was literally bug. EWWWW
After that we went onto another series of trails. It was actually really fun and really pretty! It started going liek straight down but on a fun rocky trail. Then after we got to the bottom we walked along the river for a few miles. Then after a lunch on a boulder overlooking the river (we had fritos!!) it was back up! It wasn’t that hard although it was super steep it was very short and was over before we knew it. On the car ride home we drove through the Grove of forest cows which ar emy favorite thing ever. They are so oblivious to everything around them and just spend their days living in the forest on the side of the road munching on the grass and tending their babies. If I’m unable to get a pet cat when I’m older I will definitely get a cow.
When we got back home I did my summer school online home ec class. I am really good at procrastinating on this class and solar of the 2 units and their respective lessons I’ve had to turn in I have done all of the work the night before and morning of that they are due. I knocked out 6/8 of the assignments and are leaving the others for the morning. Besides that I made a bunch of the beaded jewelery and listened to more of my book!
We were planning on having smores for dessert tonight but in sync when we were putting out sticks over the fire our propane tank ran out. I’m spending the rest of the night watching Friendly’s and trying to go to bed early even though it’s already late.
