The day I found my LEAST favorite national Park

Today started like any other day. Waking up early and packing up the room and having some Holiday inn Express. Then we drove to Redwoods National Park. When we got to the visitor center I grabbed a Jr ranger packet. We were planning to backpacking tommorow. My parents were reading through the rules. Then my dad pointed out something. In big bold letters it said that there were very frequent car break ins. My mom asked the ranger how frequent assuming that she would say “oh not much at all.” But she said yes. We all kind of freaked out. After we signed everything and got the permit we went outside. We had a quick Pow Wow and decided to not backpack. We were all a bit nervous to leave Fred alone for the 1.5 mile hike we did. We were even more nervous about Fred when we saw a sign that said lock your car and take your valuables with you, so today we hiked with our passports. After our hike we decided to head out and that Redwoods was our least favorite National Park. We headed to the hotel to swim. Then we chilled in our hotel room before heading to find dinner. We first were directed to a abandoned lot then went to a cute little brewery were I had wings. RIDDLE TIME Good guess to Auntie Michelle and good job to Ms. Lockie. The correct answer was the Pacific Ocean. Your riddle for today is: Which National Park has the most broken things. Write your answer on our blog.

  1. I’m sorry that you found your least favorite national park. About 20 years ago, I visited Redwoods and it was wonderful – no car theft signs!

This riddle has me stumped! Broken things could be many things – yikes! (broken trees, Broken Islands, bridges, roads, etc.) I know that I have been to Broken Arch in Arches National Park so I’m going to say Arches National Park!

Tell your Mom and Dad that I think that there is an In N Out Burger not too far from Grant’s Pass! 🙂
