Well, today was one of the days where we had to change plans.
We were at Redwoods NP before they opened and were among the first in the visitors center. We went to pick up or backpacking permit and signed all of the papers. One of the things though was bolded in red and said be prepared for your car to be broken into.
Because our car was broken into two years ago we are all a little sensitive and decided that we really didn’t want that to happen again. We decided to do a little hike though and parked right next to the sign that said take all of your valuables with you so we hiked with all of our passports. That’s okay though because they are very light weight. The trees were cool though. They were very big and lots of them were stuck by lightning.
After that stop we went to 6 Rivers brewery and shared some Nachos and a pretzel they were passable and filled our stoumach’s. We also decided to go to another brewery that was inside a storage unit. It was a little weird but that is okay.
When we got back to the hotel we had some leftover chips and salsa. We also went swimming which was fun.
For dinner we went to another brewery where Ellie and I shared wings. I am going to sleep well tonight.
