This morning we woke up and had a delicious breakfast. After saying our goodbyes we were on the road.
We stopped in Carbondale for lunch. I got a kids burger because I wansn’t super hungry and I didn’t even finish it. After we went on some cute stores.
As we arrived in Basalt we smelt and saw the fires. We found out that the fires are 59% contained. Again we walked around. We found a cute little restaurant where we had wine hour.
After we had a very nice dinner. I turned around once and saw the wildfire 2 miles away from us. I am very scared that we will have to evacuate. Luckily, no one else seems nervous. Happy Anniversary!
