Before I tell you about Today I wanted to say I cannot wait ✋ to see 👀every one ☝else we will be seeing in are trip like Ranger Mike and the Berrys and the Stewarts. Also I miss everyone at home like 👍 the Schultzs and Deggans and of course my 5th grade friends. Anyway, tday we got up ☝at 7:00ish. Again I was in bed the longest. We got a nice breakfast at the Holiday Inn Express and then were on road again. We drove 1 hour to El Morro. We were greeted by Ranger Joseph who asked if we were the Knotts and told us the whole county knew we were coming. I was handed a letter with a quote by Ranger Betty Reid Soskin. I opened it up and inside was a hand ✋ written letter from Ranger Leslie. It told me about other female Rangers. 🍋(random lemon) It was so inspirational and deeply thoughtful. She also gave me a token with when the park was established. The hike 🚶itself was amazing. We.got to see 👀 a pool 🏊 which was full of salamanders. We also saw 👀 some inscriptions in the wall. Some of them were in Spanish and some were in English. After that we went to El Malepais were I blew the ranger away with my amazing volcano skills. (Thanks Mrs. Smith). After that we went to Chaco Culture National historic site. We got to hike 🚶 in a slot canyon and we saw 👀 a layer of rock that was made from fossil. The thing that amazed me most was that all the publoes were original. We went out to dinner at a cute brewery and watched fire 🔥 works in the Farmington museum parking lot. It is great 👍to know another amazing Ranger that keeps me thinking that I can be a ranger one day. Thanks Ranger Mike, Ranger Leslie, Ranger Amber, Ranger Joseph, and Ranger Brian.😛😃😜😋😝😑🍝🍦🍔🍍😎🎠💗
I can not wait to hear about your time with Ranger Mike this summer. How incredibly thoughtful of Ranger Leslie to send you such a sweet note. I’m sure that will be something you treasure forever!
PS- thanks for the shout-out! I’m glad you’re able to use your volcano knowledge so quickly!!
