This morning we hit the road after waking up in the Thunderbird Lodge. I didn’t get to write about dinner last night but it was delicious. We had a charcuterie and I had a delicious pasta.
This morning when we woke up we started driving to Pipespring NM. Ellie was in a very lovey mood and would not stop being “nice” to me but in reality it was just annoying. After driving about 4 hours we made it to Pipespring NM. Basically the Mormons bought the Native Americans land and and the Native Americans themselves. Definitely my highlight of that stop was seeing the oxen.
We just arrived at the Zion National Park. It is beautiful. We got the cutest little cabin and now we are relaxing. We went out for dinner and huckleberry ice cream. When we got back to the cabins we saw so many deer. 13 in fact! They were eating right in front of the lodge. I am super excited for tomorrow. We decided to do the Narrows Hike, itshould be a pretty fun day.
