Relaxing Day

Today there was three thing we knew that we had to go to. The world’s Largest Pistachio, White Sands National Monument, and Grandys.

This morning we slept in and relaxed in the hotel room. When we finally got up we drove to the World’s Largest Pistachio. Did you know pistachios are graphed with othrr trees.Well it was a total tourist trap. It was a steel pistachio shaped monument. Inside reminded me of the world’s largest truck stop. Cheep suveniors sold for millions of dollars. The second room was full of pistachios. We were debating over the 20 ounce bag or the 5 ounce bag. Eventually we decided the 5 ounce bag. Then they said to that they have tours and my parents decided that we needed to do it. We saw the grapes for the winery🍷and pistachio trees🌳. When the tour was over we redeemed our free pistachio cookies.

We drove to White sands National Monument and it was amazing. The sand was piled feet high all over us. It was unlike anything we had ever seen. Just seas of sand. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to go sledding but we did get to play around and do boomerangs, slo-mo’s, handstands, and pictures on the sand. Ellie and I did countless handstands and we continued writing Untanglingknotts.com over and over. Afterwords we got the cutest earrings from the gift shop which are homemade by the Zunni tribe because we forgot our earrings at home.

Yep, the wooden table that my grandma has. It was good. Definitely! Hopefully? A once in a lifetime experience.
