Today was a A-M-A-Z-I-N-G to start we where in Arches AND saw Ranger MIke. If you do not know who Ranger Mike is, he is the ranger that we hiked the Fiery Furnance, a hike we did in Arches last year. We saw him at the Visitor Center. We talked to him about the park and then he said he had something for me but don’t open it until you are in the car. He went to the back and came back with a big box. We said good bye and went out to the car. I opened the box to find a real ranger hat!! I ran back inside to thank him he said that it was his old hat. The one I had tried on. I love it SO much!!💖 It is so special to me.Thank you Ranger Mike!!

Aw Ellie, that is a very special gift. Always cherish it. I was never so happy that when my Dad passed away the only thing my stepmother gave me was his cowboy hat. And that was all I wanted from his stuff. I was even able to wear it in my church’s Summer musical last summer. He made me proud.
