If we’ve only learned one thing, it is that DC is exhausting. Today we did the Library of Congress, National Archives, Bureau of Engraving and Printing, Smithsonian Castle, and a few other little things. We found great food for lunch and dinner, an ice cream truck midday, and fun snacks in our room at the Mason and Rook. So, without further ado, here’s another video post.
You are in one of my all time favorite cities. And I really enjoy your reports. I think Rosemont Metro used to be the tallest escalater in the world. For cheap entertainment we college student interns would ride it up and down and watch people leaning in to the slant.
You girls should know that years ago you could walk both up and down the steps of the Washington monument. I was there for a 4H congress when I was in 9th grade and first fell in love walking down those steps. 🙂
There should have been a free part of the Halocost museum which is quite interesting. It is the only part I’ve seen so I’m sorry you weren’t directed that way.
Enjoy your travels. It’s a great place to visit!
