With the weather beginning to turn we’ve just been having a ball. Zoe’s spent much time in the wagon walking to the park or strolling around the zoo. We’ve been walking around the block lately…a task that takes about a half an hour these days. Zoe takes her time, inspecting each and every pebble, leaf, and woodchip. A few very lucky rocks get picked up and are not allowed to leave Zoe’s tight grasp under any condition. So we started a rock collection. The collection consists of 7 rocks. They all look the same. And one woodchip.

When we’re feeling really ambitions we’ll make our way toward the park. Last year, Zoe’s favorite activity was the swing, but she no longer gets overly excited about them, opting to go down the slide over and over and over again. Her whole face lights up and a most wonderful smile come to her face as she zooms down toward my open arms. She has also been enjoying the teeter-totter, peacefully enjoying the warmer air flying through her hair. She holds on tight, constantly being distracted by every other child playing nearby. She’ll stare at them, watching them move around, and being perfectly happy bouncing up and down while teetering.

Spring is perfect!
