Zoe and I had a perfect day meeting Zak’s visiting aunts, Amy and Mindy, in Chicago today. Zak was busy all day at work and wasn’t able to see them, but Zoe and I had a blast. We met them in Millennium Park and Zoe loved the fountain, nearly insisting on sitting down in the pool of water almost drenching her darling outfit. We had a cocktail in the Park Café (cool! Word added that mark above the e on its own!) We then wondered down Michigan Avenue and worked our way up to Ed Debevic’s for some great burgers and the world’s smallest ice cream sundae. It was my first time there and it was really a lot of fun. We then worked our way back up Michigan Avenue and said our good-byes. It was a fabulous day and I just love catching up with them. I’m so thrilled that they wanted to spend their part of their vacation with us!
