As some of you may be aware I have been concerned lately that Baby would be born too late for Santa to add her to his list for this year. I wrote him this letter so that he would know she’s coming:

Dear Santa,

Hi Santa! I hope that you’ve had a wonderful last 9 months and that all of the preparations for your busy upcoming season are going smoothly. I know that it is a still a little bit early to be writing but I have some exciting news that I couldn’t wait to share with you. Molly and I are going to have a baby daughter sometime around December 2 nd of this year!

I’m writing because I’m not sure how your naughty or nice department adds new names to their research list. I am hopeful that you could inform them about the arrival of our new baby girl.

I know that you do a lot of your own investigations into who has been good and bad, but I wanted to share a couple of things to help you get started. She had her first test in July with the ultrasound guy. He said that she got an A and was a very strong kicker and had a good heartbeat. Also, all of her parts were in just the right spot and she was very healthy looking. She has done equally well at all of her checkups since then.

I know that she kicks her mom a lot, but she doesn’t mean to hurt her. I think that it’s just her way of saying “hi” and “I’m excited to come out and meet you”. Also, she has been studying really hard for her APGAR test. I’m sure that she will do very well when she takes it.

I don’t know what type of things she would want for Christmas, but please bring her something nice like you bring the other baby girls.

Thank you,

Zak

P.S. Say hi to Mrs. Clause, Herbie, and the reindeer for me!
