🥾🚗🌞 7/9

This moring I got up way to early at 6:20 also I did not fall asleep for the first time until like 12:30 and then I kept waking up. It was NOT an optimal situation. I went into the bathroom and put my contacts in I also put my hair in a pony tail,then took that down tried a bunch still no eventually I just put two brids in because i knew I could do that without having a hundred bumps of hair. Then I went to my room to put some make up on. When I got in I noticed hey it is hot in here. At one point during the night I has closed my windows because it was cold. So I Opened them back up(THIS IS IMPORTANT FOR LATER). then I went downstairs and we on the road right at 7. We had a 2 and a half hour drive today. We were going to arches to do my favorite hike of all time. The firey furnace. The drive felt like it was taking a long time but we got there eventually. Arches made it so that now you have to have a time slot to get in this made the park the emptyest I have ever seen it. We stopped by the visitor center to get our permit. We also had to watch a video on the rules. THEN THERE WAS A POP QUIZ likes its summer why am I getting quizzed. I got a C on the quiz one question right and one wrong. I will say I feel it is unfair that I was asked two questions everyone else was asked one or none. Then we drove another 20 minutes to the trailhead. Unfortunately there was another group starting at the same time as us. Normally not a problem we find out who is faster in the first quarter mile the faster group gets ahead and you don’t see them again. But it was a bit trickier for this hike because there is no trail and you can kind of go where ever as long as there is either rock or beach sand to walk on. So we kept taking detors and taking breaks to let them get ahead but we always met up with them at the next cool detore or big patch of shade. Honestly if had just been this it would not have been a problem but they were being very Loyd like yelling at each other where you are supposed to be quiet. To make it worse they split into two groups and guess who was in between the two groups. Us. So it felt like we were always with them. Despite all this the hike was so fun. Lots of scrambling and climbing up rocks. It was VERY hot today according to Fred (our car in case you did not know) it was 115 out. I love this hike but man do never need to do it again in summer. At the end we also took a wrong turn and had to go back up quote a bit. When we got back to the top I chugged a water bottle and sprite that were cold. We drove back to the house and we ran into just a tiny tiny litte problem. I went upstairs to grab some clean clothes and get in the shower. So I am shocked when I get to my room and the door is closed but not just closed locked. I alert my parents and am told to “just turn the Handel more.” We realize that the door is locked shut. Now you might be thinking ellie how Did youanage to lock yourself out of your room. Well apparently I pressed the lock button on the door then the windows I had opened yeah they blew the door shut. Now one more important piece of information the doorknob was on wrong and the is no way to pick it even with the best efforts from my mom and dad it was not budgging. So plan two trya md get in though the patio. Zoe and I had rooms next to each other and they both led to the same balcony. So we went out though zoes room and sure enough that door was locked to and we could not find the key. So we had two options left call a locksmith OR climb onto the roof with a ladder and walk over to my windows punch the careen out and climb in through the window. We went with option two. We’ll my mom did. AND IT WORKEDDDD!!! we got in I finally got to get my clothes for my shower then I went a relaxed fro a bit before making chicken tacos for dinner.
