Not sure if you can still take a boat ride into the canyon- we did that and it was a great way to see alot without having to drive so much. You may have to access it from outside the park on the east side. Also Ryan Reese brother of Rachel Reese who your mom went to grade school with works in mountain rescue there in the summer. He helps people who get stuck rock climbing, hiking, etc.
Yes! I forgot to mention the boat ride…it’s gorgeous!
