San Francisco! Finally! Today we made the 1.5 hour drive to San Francisco. I woke up at 7:30 and played Mahjong on my phone until 8:00ish and my dad brought up coffee and oranges for a little pre-breakfast. We did a couple of loads of laundry and packed another bag of clothes for San Francisco. At some point in the morning I went down stairs to the front desk and got some coffee for my mom and to see what time breakfast ends. For breakfast I had a cinnamon roll and biscuits and gravy with orange, mango, papaya juice.
We started the drive to San Francisco at 10:00ish. ALSO, WE STOPPED AT OUR FIRST TARGET OF THE TRIP! We didn’t get anything fancy just some snacks that needed re-supplying.
The before I knew it we were in San Francisco! We checked into our first Kimpton of the trip! After we put all of our stuff down we started walking around. We bought a little something for all of the neighbors and went out to one of the best Chinese restaurants (a word I know how to spell but my dad doesn’t). It was called Sam Wo and we shared Fried Rice, Sweet and Sour Chicken, and something I don’t know the name of but it was really good. After lunch we continued walking around I bought a book that I have really wanted called Maya Angelou The Complete Poetry and some fortune cookies. We wandered up an down the steep hill and finally made it back to the hotel where we are doing work and writing. We will go to wine hour can soon.
