What a whirlwind of a couple of days. The girls got their first tastes of NYC and we had the most delightful visit with dear family friends, Margi and Michael. They took us on a walking tour of Harlem and then through Central Park. It was exactly what the girls needed to want to visit again really soon.
Today consisted of 12 hours of driving, from New York to Chicago. Quite amazing if you think about it. We never have thought about NY being a day’s drive away, but now I don’t see a reason not to go out for the occasional Saturday night dinner. It’s possible!
