This morning we woke up, and drove to Arches. Last night we went out for dinner and it was super good!
We drove to the Park Avenue trail head and walked a few minutes to the trail we planned on doing today. After walking about 10 minutes we had to go up. We scrambled on a ledge and made it to our turn around point. It was 3 rocks that were piled on one another. We could’ve done it if we really wanted too. We saw another ranger up there on a hike and he suggested that we do tower arch.
Tower arch was super hot but totally worth it. The hardest part of the whole hike was walking up in the sand. When we got to the arch another family said they saw a rattle snake under a bush. Luckily, we didn’t see it. We climbed up on the rocks and went live on Facebook. The hike down was super hard because we were sweating in every crevice. That hike was 3. something miles.
We are going to the rodeo tonight. It was a fun day.
