I’ve been in more churches this trip than I have been in my life. Again we woke up ate breakfast and got to the park right as they opened. This monument is actually 4 sites. The visitors center, Abo, Quarai, and Gran Quivira. We started by going to the visitors center where we got junior ranger packets and watched the film. Then we headed off to the first one which was Quarai. So far they have all looked the same. A church with many rooms. Some of the rooms includes the stables, and the priests getting ready room. There we did a little hike and saw a kiva one of which was a square. There we received a ribbion and headed to Abo. Abo was basically the same a church, a kiva and some ruins.
After the third one which was basically the same as the previous 2. We started going to Roswell but we just had to stop at Smokey Bear grave site and museum. Yep, we walked around and looked at pictures of bears. Also we saw the “gravesite” of the first Smokey Bear balloon which ran on to a telephone pole and is barried near Smokey Bear.
Ever feel you need a little more 8th grade science fair project in your life? Well, visit the International UFO Museum and Research center. Ever need a little more hymor in you life? Well, visit the International UFO Museum and Research center. Well we went. I don’t want to be rude or anything but it was halarious. It was literally a science fair about UFO’s. All of the evidence and people watching make it an experience. Ellie was halarious and her countenance was amazing. I can’t really explain it other that a giant science fair project but, you should totally go.
Today was a fun filled eventful day.
