It is a scortching 95 degrees today. Not a huge deal, except when we had to replace our furnace last summer we found out our central air unit was nearly original to the house and didn’t actually work either. We made the decision to save a few grand and not replace the AC. We aren’t home most of the summer and we have a decent window unit we can use near the bedrooms. It isn’t much of an incovenience. Until it reaches 95 before we leave. The past two days have been nearly unbearable. We had the good fortune of spending yesterday with neighbors and the heat didn’t matter when we were having so much fun. Our only agenda item for today was to do yard work and that wasn’t going to happen. So we spontaneously decided that today was the big day! THE big Target trip.
I think I can speak for the whole family when I say the best part was being in air conditioning for a hour and a half. We were fairly efficient and quickly crossed items off our list. Enjoy the pictoral tour.
We spent the rest of the afternoon at the movies watching Black Panther, it was the longest movie playing.
