Today was our last hike. It was 14,060 feet high. Guess what it is. It was a mountain. It was a 14er. We went up 2,600 feet. The name of the mountain is Mt. Bierstadt. It was 8 miles and 7.5 hours.
Today I woke up with a bright light in my eye. Because of my sleeping troubles I only slept 2 hours, so I thought that the light was the moon. I woke up at 4:15. I got dressed and then we to the bathroom.
It was time to start the hike. We started by going downhill, 200 feet. I did not feel good. I felt like I was going throw up. The wild flowers were beautiful. There was so many different colors. Like a million different ones. We made it to the fun area only by then I couldn’t breath. I was panting and had to take so many breaks. We made it to the top. I felt so proud and accomplished, proud, and sad. This was our last hike of the trip.
After a long time we finally made it back to Fred.
We saw big horn sheep on the side of the road.
We made our way to the Lewis Sweet Shop and got malts, and carnitas.
We are at a kimpton eating chipotle.
Tomorrow is a big driving day.
