Southern Utah

Last night I didn’t write a blog post because I was in a tent. We started the day at our log cabin in a nice comfy bed, the opposite way we ended the day.

We drove a little way to a River where me and Ellie played for 10 minutes. Then we drove a little way and saw some pretty views. After that we saw a water fall in the middle of the desert. It was amazing. We finally drove up a four wheel drive road to the camp site. There, we set up camp. I got to share a tent with mom.

This morning I woke up in a tent. I quickly got dressed and then I entered the freezing cold. I ate a brown sugar pop tart then entered the steepness of the hike. IT WAS STEEP. We saw a preserved Dinosaur footprint, and four galleries of petroglyphs and pictographs, they were amazing. The hike was hard because it was all in sand. We struggled through the end but the finally made it to the top.

We drove all long time to the Inca Inn. I had a delicious club wrap for dinner. We had to sing this song to scare away the mountain lion.
