This morning as the 6:30 alarm rang I dreadfully emerged from my sleep. We quickly got ready and then got some delicious donuts. We rarely get donuts on the trip but these were so good!
We drove back to Durango and started the hike. It was SO pretty. You could see all of Durango the entire time. We climbed multiple large hills or Illinois Mountains. Another hike highlight was ordering enchiladas for dinner tonight unfortunately we have to wait 57 more minutes until we can pick them up. The hike was literally perfect and the weather was amazing.
After a STEEP hike down we went back to the car. We went to Steamworks before all taking much needed showers. Now only 42 more mins until the best enchiladas in the world.
update: we did NOT get enchiladas because they ran out but the quesadilla was a pretty good alternative
