Welcome to my POV of day three. Today was a lot like yesterday drive stop drive stop. Anyway on with the day. We woke up once again at 7 AM. Personal I am not a fan of the whole alarm in summer thing but, I seem to not have much control over that as my parents are the ones who actually set the alarms. Moving on from that much needed rant. We went downstairs at grab some cinnamon rolls to go then got in the car as today is the day we first crossed into Colorado. In the car on the way to our first stop I ate and listened to music. We also went down the first dirt road of the trip and Fred (and my dad) did a great job getting us through We pulled up to the first spot when we learned about a massicure that happened in 1864 we listened to about and hour long talk about it then we went on a quick 4 mile hike around the land. After that we got back into the car and made some Peanut butter and jelly sandwich and today folks today was a good day based on one minor thing that happens at lunch. I didn’t have to have Cheetos! Instead I got to have some delicious Dot’s pretzels. If you have never had Dot’s pretzels I strongly recommend you try them. Moving on from lunch if you have ever been in the car for awhile then you know it can get pretty boring and sometimes you have to get creative to cure this boredom and the best way to do this in my professional opinion the best way to do this is mess with the people so, when we came across a tractor I told my family that at scouts I had learned it was the B-3-12 storage tractor. Feel free to Google what this is because I honestly have no idea and just made it up to mess with my family. We next went to a former conservation camp we did a driving tour of it, and learned about all the different building and the town. We finished off the with a half hour drive then Zoe and I went swimming for a bit then back up the room for a shower.
