Today in Yosemite we saw the power, of water, of people, of rocks, of trees, of everything. The waterfalls were so forceful, the people made this a National Park, the rocks for the ground, and the trees pulled up the rock and all other trees. We saw so many waterfalls most of which are usually dry by now but again due to all the snowfall they were all still going so we had many great views.
We woke up at a time that I don’t know and we loaded up the car with all of our food. yep, because of the risk of bears we had to out put all of our food in the bear lockers. Luckily, it all fit. We got to our bus stop at 8:00 like it told us to for our 8:30 bus ride. My mom got cafeteria coffee and we sat on the benches for a little while. Then when they said we had to get on the bus and go, we did that. Well, half it we didn’t do the “go” part instead we waited, we waited for the fire to get put out. A car driving up the road was overheating so it went on fire and there was like a 45 minute delay. You could see the car was burnt to ashes.
When we got to the trailhead we started hiking down. The majority of the hike was downhill except for a few parts. The hike was very pretty we saw dozens of waterfalls, a lot of creeks, and views of Yosemite Falls, and Half Dome. It felt so magical just walking through the waterfalls getting misted and drenched. There was one spot where we had to walk right next to the waterfall and the wind was blowing our way at the end of that part we were all waterfalls ourselves. We had meat sticks, peanut butter sandwiches (we are out of Jelly and there are no stores), and Cheetos.
When we finished the hike we drove out of the park and the way we saw a black bear eating dinner. We got out of the car and took some quick pictures. We have 20 minutes left in our 3.5 hour drive and WE GET IN N’ OUT FOR DINNER. We are staying at a Holiday Inn Express and tomorrow we will be in San Francisco!!!!!!!!!!
